Meet the Blogger through my eyes

Hello everyone, happy Monday! How's it going?
Today, the weekly column "This week on my coffee table" left the space to another post, "Meet the Blogger through my eyes". As you know saturday I've been to Amsterdam for this lovely event organized by Lise, from the blog Urban Style Vibes (here more info about the sponsors and some pictures). For me, this was not just a gorgeous event, but the opportunity to meet my dear blog friend Iro (from Domestic Stories with Ivy) and Holly Becker, the woman that two years ago, with her blog (decor8) and her words inspired me to open my own blog.
The event was a great success! All the speeches were really inspiring: Holly spoke about her beginning as a blogger and interior stylist, Angelie (from Lily's cupcakes) explained how she got the idea few years ago and how the media helped her to improved the business and Natascha introduced us Flavourites and the concept behind this webshop.
Everything in the lovely Hotel V lobby, with Lily's cupcakes (the commercial it's true..can't resist a Lily!).
Holly was so nice with all of us, she signed the copy of Decorate and Iro and I took some funny pictures with her.
After the event we've been to Neef Louis and Van Dijk & ko. (I bought a new dresser for my bedroom) and we had a great time together! It's funny because we never met before, but it was like to see an old friend after years! We also lost the way back to the hotel, but this is another story that we would like to call "Lost on the snellweg"!! And yesterday I had the pleasure to have Iro and her boyfriend here at my place, a quick ice cream and fruits salad on the way back to Germany.
Here you can have a glimpse of this week end, some pictures that I've published on Twitter and some pics of us that Iro's boyfriend made yesterday at my place.

Thanks to all the people that worked hard for the last months, to offer us such a gorgeous event!

Ilaria Chiaratti 2011

Buongiorno a tutti, felice lunedi! Come va?

  4. Lovely girl,

you've put such a wonderful post together!
Adore the pictures in your apartment and those we made with Holly...among so many other ones...your new shoes are fabulous and am dreaming of cupcakes....I laugh a lot when I think of our "Lost in the Schnellweg" experience after our visit in the vintage shop and am wishing I could magically finish all the household chores with a fairy's wand and then have time to visit you for crocheting and more of this deliciouly refreshing red fruit salad with ice cream!

Have a great day my friend!
    Hugs,
    Iro xoxo

  14. It looks like you had so much fun! I wish I could have been there to meet you too! I hope there will be another meet up soon! So far everyone that I have in person that I have met online have been instant "old" friends. It is quite extraordinary!

  16. Hi there - lovely post which completely captures the spirit of the day. I was there too, but don't think we spoke. It was so hard to try and speak to everyone and see who was who, but hope will have a chance to meet properly at a future one.
