My new BigBag

During one of my last visit to Ikea I've bought several piece of fabric. I think that Ikea has a lovely collection and the quality is really good. I fell in love for a fabric that I never saw before, the name is Monalis, a brown and pink fabric with wood and birds pattern. I bought it without any plan in my mind, just following my istinct! I sewed a small curtain for my bathroom cabinet and I've used the rest to sew a BigBag! I used as a model one bag that I've bought few years ago in Italy that now it's almost broke but that I really like. I'm not able to explain the correct procedure, I hope that the pictures can help who of you want to try to make it!

Durante una delle mia ultime visite all' Ikea, ho comprato diversi pezzi di tessuto. Credo che l' Ikea abbia una bella collezione di tessuti e la qualità è davvero buona. Mi sono innamorata di un tessuto che non avevo mai visto prima, il nome è Monalis, un tessuto a base bianca con disegni marroni e rosa che raffigurano un bosco stilizzato. L'ho comprato senza alcun piano in mente, solo seguendo il mio istinto! Ho cucito una piccola tenda per il mobiletto del bagno e ho usato il resto per cucire una BigBag! Ho usato come modello una borsa che ho comprato qualche anno fa in Italia, che haimé ora è quasi rotta, ma che mi piace molto. Non sono in grado di spiegare la procedura corretta che ho seguito, spero che le immagini possano aiutare chi di voi vuole provare a farla!
