One of the most interesting things, was the possibility to make {with your hands}, your own "bee house", sponsored by a garden center located in Eindhoven.
Alberto likes this kind of things, so coats off and work! It was very funny and after 1 hour {we were very enthusiastic but not so quick!} our "bee house" was ready. Of course I added my personal touch, a bark roof decorated with a couple of pine cones..the guy that was there to teach, told me that was really original. I have a future as a "bee house" decorator!!

Domenica abbiamo partecipato al Garage Sale Festival ad Eindhoven, un evento che ha lo scopo di creare un'interazione tra la comunità internazionale e la comunità locale.
Una delle cose più interessanti proposte, è stata la possibilità di poter realizzare con le proprie mani una "bee house" {una casa per gli insetti}, sponsorizzata da un vivaio situato nei dintorni di Eindhoven.
Ad Alberto piacciono un sacco questo genere di cose, quindi via le giacche e al lavoro! E'stato molto divertente e dopo 1 ora {eravamo molto entusiasti, ma non così veloci!} la nostra "bee house" era pronta. Naturalmente ho aggiunto il mio tocco personale, un tetto di corteccia decorato con alcune pigne e del muschio..il ragazzo che era lì per insegnare mi ha detto che il risultato era davvero originale e curato. Be', ho un futuro come stylist per le "bee house"!!

So cute! I love bees, they are so useful. It's good that you made a house like this as bees don't have enough homes in the cities in NL, or so I've read.

ReplyDeleteSicuramente qualcosa di particolare. Ho letto proprio in questi giorni che la presenza delle api (anche solitarie) fanno tanto bene agli alberi, soprattutto a quelli da frutto
