New house {updates}

Hello dear readers, how are you? I hope you had a lovely weekend. It's been a week until my last post and so many things are changed!
Here few updates {and some pics} from the new house:
♦ we packed almost everything, except for the clothes and the food {look at the pic to have an idea of the mess!} and we are ready to move for the weekend
♦ the kitchen is arrived and the guys have assembled it last week..and it's lovely!
♦ the walls are painted {you can see the entryway in the pic} but still wet
♦ the Ikea purchases are on the way {as the bed and the furnitures from Van Dijk & ko.}
♦ the carpet's days are numbered!

Buongiorno cari lettori, come state? Spero che abbiate passato un incantevole fine settimana. È passata una settimana dal mio ultimo post e sono cambiate un sacco di cose!

Ecco alcuni aggiornamenti {e qualche foto} direttamente dalla casa nuova:

♦ abbiamo imballato quasi tutto, tranne i vestiti e il cibo {date un'occhiata alla foto per farvi un'idea della confusione!} e siamo pronti a traslocare il prossimo fine settimana

♦ la cucina è arrivata e i ragazzi l'hanno montato la settimana scorsa..e posso dire con onestà che è veramente bella!

♦ le pareti sono dipinte {nella foto l'ingresso}, ma devono ancora asciugare per bene

♦ gli acquisti fatti all'Ikea sono in viaggio {così come il letto e mobili che abbiamo preso da Van Dijk & ko.}

♦ la moquette ha i giorni contati!

IDAD

It's almost a month that I would like to write this post, but I never had the right occasion. Well, the time is arrived. 


I'm happy to introduce you my first sponsor*, IDAD.
Ida Dutka {IDAD} is a young polish textile and pattern designer, now based between Milan and Berlin.

È da più di un mese che voglio scrivere questo post, ma non ho mai avuto l'occasione giusta. Bene, finalmente è arrivato il momento.

IDA is here: Mollie Makes

The word "happy" is not enough to describe my emotion when yesterday I received the Mollie Makes pages where my granny cushion is featured.
I think that "speachless" is more appropriate, and "honored" of course.
Few months ago the lovely redaction team, asked me to collaborate with a simple crochet project, that you can find today on issue 13 of Mollie Makes.

La parola "felice" penso non sia sufficiente per descrivere la mia emozione quando ieri ho ricevuto i file delle pagine su Mollie Makes in cui è descritto il mio cuscino all'uncinetto.
Credo che "senza parole" sia più appropriato, e aggiungo anche "onorata" naturalmente.
Tutto è iniziato qualche mese fa, quando la redazione del giornale mi ha contattata chiedendomi di collaborare con un semplice progetto crochet, che è possibile trovare oggi sul numero 13 di Mollie Makes.

Cosy ripple blanket

I made another blanket!
The idea come from this lovely picture from Yvonne {The Yvestown Blog} that I saw on Instagram. She's a truly inspiration for my crochet works, so I tried to make something similar. I like the result, is cosy and warm.

Ho fatto un'altra coperta!

L'idea viene direttamente da questa bellissima foto fatta da Yvonne {The Yvestown Blog} che ho trovato su Instagram. Lei è una vera miniera di ispirazioni per i miei lavori all'uncinetto, così ho provato a fare qualcosa di simile. Mi piace il risultato, è supermorbidosa e calda.

I dream

I love the new house..almost every day I spend 30 minutes looking around, the meter in my hand and a lot of ideas in my head.

I discover new corners, new points of view and..I dream.

Amo la casa nuova..quasi ogni giorno passo 30 minuti guardandomi attorno, il metro in mano e un sacco di idee nella mia testa.

Far away sofa

Until last week I had a clear plan in my mind about the living room..but then I saw a gorgeous picture in Pinterest and everything changed. 
My first idea was to have a big white three-seat sofa and chaise longue, but after a few considerations {thanks to my FB friends!}, I realized that maybe two sofas are a solution more flexible for my space.
Well, but which sofas? Ikea or something else? The only Ikea model that I like is the Karlstad and if we choose another brand we have to consider the budget.
A good idea is to hack the Karlstad with a new cover {from Bemz} and new legs {from Prettypegs}. Well, here some ideas.
Do you have the Karlstad sofa? Suggestions or tips? Thank you ;-)

Fino alla settimana scorsa avevo le idee piuttosto chiare riguardo al soggiorno..ma poi ho visto una foto bellissima in Pinterest e tutto è cambiato, mandando a rotoli mesi di progettazione.
L'idea iniziale era quella di avere un grande divano bianco a tre posti con penisola, ma dopo alcune considerazioni {grazie alle amiche di FB!}, mi sono resa conto che forse due divani sono una soluzione più flessibile per il mio spazio.
Ok, ma quali divani? Ikea o qualcos'altro? L'unico modello Ikea che mi piace è il Karlstad e se scegliamo un' altra marchio dobbiamo tenere in considerazione il budget.
Una buona idea è quella di modificare il Karlstad con una nuova fodera {Bemz} e nuove gambe {Prettypegs}. Bene, ecco alcune idee.
Qualcuno di voi ha il divano Karlstad? Avete suggerimenti o consigli? Grazie;-)

Flickr says it's Friday {march edition}

Happy Good Friday my dear readers!
The past week has been full of news and joy for me and my husband. As you know we got the keys of the new house and we started the first works in the kitchen.
I also started the final project for my school: I have to design a vegan shop for clothes and shoes in an old building. So interesting! And the teacher was really pleased after my first ideas..finger crossed!
And another exciting news: I opened my own business! Yes, since this week, IDA Interior LifeStyle is registered to the Eindhoven chamber of commerce. 
I'm so, so happy.
Well, now you know why I wasn't always present on my blog in the past days ;-)


So, today is the first friday of the month, so it's time for Flickr says it's Friday {march edition}.

Buon venerdì Santo, miei cari lettori!
La scorsa settimana è stata piena di novità e di gioia per me e mio marito. Come sapete abbiamo ricevuto le chiavi della nuova casa e abbiamo iniziato i primi lavori in cucina.
Ho anche iniziato il progetto finale per la mia scuola di interior: devo progettare un negozio vegan di vestiti e scarpe in un vecchio edificio. Davvero interessante! E l'insegnante mi è sembrata molto soddisfatta dalle mie prime idee..incrociamo le dita!
E poi ho un'altra grande notizia: ho aperto la mia attività! Sì, da questa settimana, IDA Interior LifeStyle è registrata alla camera di commercio di Eindhoven. 
Sono proprio felice.
Bene, adesso avete capito come mai ho lasciato un attimo il blog da parte nei giorni scorsi;-)


Comunque, oggi è il primo venerdì del mese, quindi è il momento di Flickr says it's Friday {march edition}.

First boxes

Yippee, we have the keys of the new house!
After few months of waiting {it seems like only yesterday when we visited for the first time} now we hare the proud owners of a lovely charming house.
I can't describe my emotions when I walked through all the empty rooms, imagine my life here with my dear husband, with our {more than} future children..my bigger desire is to have a joyful house, like a playground for our life together, where families and friends are always welcome.
And I have a great news: Casa Facile {the magazine that I collaborate with} will publish my house at the end of the works! Well, this encourage me to do a better job! So, for this reason I'm not gonna publish to much pictures, just some sneak peak every now and then..let's keep the big surprise for the magazine!

Evviva, abbiamo le chiavi della casa nuova!
Dopo mesi di attesa {sembra solo ieri quando l'abbiamo visitata per la prima volta} ora siamo gli orgogliosi proprietari di una bellissima casa.
Non riesco a descrivere le mie emozioni di quando ho camminato attraverso tutte le stanze vuote, immaginando la mia vita qui con il mio dolce marito, con i nostri {futurissimi} figli..il mio desiderio più grande è di avere una casa gioiosa, come un parco giochi per la nostra vita insieme, dove le rispettive famiglie e gli amici sono sempre i benvenuti.
E ho una grande notizia: Casa Facile {la rivista con cui collaboro} pubblicherà la mia casa alla fine dei lavori! Beh, questo mi incoraggia a fare un lavoro ancora migliore! Così, per questo motivo non pubblicherò molte foto, solo alcuni assaggi di tanto in tanto..teniamo la grande sorpresa per la rivista!


Ecco qui il primo piccolo anticipo: i primi scatoloni nel mio nuovo studio!

I bought a design lamp for my new bedroom, the gorgeous Norm 69 by Normann Copenhagen. But I need a special wire, so I found this one that is a textile cable, designed by Rie Elise Larsen. 

As you can read on the website "Rie Elise Larsen ApS is a Danish interior design company that designs and trades with accessories for the home. Our original designs are influenced by the Nordic simplicity mixed with bright and playful colors, surprising details and motives. We mix the classical with the modern expression and our products have been recognized through the years as unique and groundbreaking".

Ho comprato una lampada di design per la nuova camera da letto, la meravigliosa Norm 69 di Normann Copenhagen. Ma mi serve un filo speciale, così ho trovato questo che in realtà è un cavo tessile, progettato da Rie Elise Larsen.
