Flowers theraphy

I already wrote a post with the same title a couple of years ago, but the truth is that have flowers around me make me happy.
I like to go to the local florist shop, see which are the flowers of the season, fill my eyes of colors and decide what's to buy. The beautiful thing to live here, is that the flowers are really convenient and there is a lot of variety. The big one is a new picture, the others are pictures that I collected through the past years.
I'm curious, what's your favorite flower? Do you have one or you prefere to choose every time a different one?

Ho già scritto un post con lo stesso titolo un paio di anni fa, ma la verità è che i fiori intorno a me mi rendono felice.
Mi piace andare dal fiorista vicino a casa, vedere quali sono i fiori di stagione, riempirmi gli occhi di colori e decidere cosa acquistare. La cosa bella di vivere qui, è che i fiori hanno davvero un prezzo conveniente e c'è un sacco di varietà. La foto grande è stata appena scattata, le altre sono immagini che ho raccolto nel corso degli anni passati.
Sono curiosa, qual è il vostro fiore preferito? Ne avete uno o preferite scegliere di volta in volta?

A sunny day in Gent

Last Sunday I spent a lovely day in Gent with my husband and a couple of friends.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous, a perfect sunny day. I went to Gent just once before Sunday, two years ago, to visit the Design museum. If you like design and you're curious to see a great collection, I higly recomend a visit.
In the middle of the wandering, I've noticed a lovely showcase.. intrigued, I've decided to enter. Absolutely amazing, one of the most beautiful shop that I ever seen! Ferm Living, Rice, Rie Elise Larsen, House Doctor and many more, all in one shop, Huiszwaluw. 
If someday I'll open my own shop, it will be like this one!

Domenica scorsa ho passato una bella giornata a Gent con mio marito e una coppia di nostri amici.
Il tempo è stato assolutamente splendido, una perfetta giornata di sole. Sono andata a Gent solo una volta prima di domenica, due anni fa, per visitare il Museo del Design. Se vi piace il design e siete curiosi di vedere una magnifica collezione, consiglio vivamente una visita.
In mezzo al nostro vagabondaggio, ho notato una vetrina davvero bellissima..incuriosita, ho deciso di entrare. Assolutamente incredibile, uno dei negozi più belli che io abbia mai visto! Ferm Living, Rice, Rie Elise Larsen, House Doctor e molti altri, tutti in un unico negozio, Huiszwaluw.
Se un giorno dovessi decidere di aprire un negozio, sarà proprio come questo!

Time for pictures!

Yesterday I started the photoshoot of the Happy House for Casa Facile. I do all the job by myself, I don't have a team that works with me, so I made just the pictures of the living + kitchen + laundrette.
I love this part, because after months I can see the results of all the efforts done. Hopefully early next week all the pictures will be ready!
To celebrate I want to share a picture, a very tiny sneak peek..sorry, I can't do more!

Ieri ho iniziato il servizio fotografico della Happy House per Casa Facile. Faccio tutto il lavoro da sola, non ho una squadra che lavora con me, così per il momento ho fatto solo le foto del soggiorno + cucina + lavanderia.
Amo questa parte, perché dopo mesi posso vedere i risultati di tutti gli sforzi fatti. Speriamo che all'inizio della prossima settimana tutte le foto siano pronte!
Per festeggiare voglio condividere una foto, una sbirciatina davvero piccina..mi spiace, non posso fare di più!

Guest room ideas

Since I started imagine the Happy House {months ago, when I was waiting to have the keys!}, I never had a "favorite room", all my attentions were focussed on finding nice decorations ideas for every room.
I think that every rooms deserve equal attentions..I don't like the houses when just one room is the "masterpiece" and the others {normally the private ones} are dulls and without character. And I'm not talking about money, I'm talking about good sense. You can create a lovely room with a small budget..in other words: my daily challenge!
Now I'm looking for inspirations for the guest room...not easy, if you consider that every guest is different {and we have a lot of different guests!}. Well, in my opinion the guest room should reflect the owner taste and it has to be simple and functional. A confortable armchair, a small table/desk and cushions are the basics elements. I made a collage with some other inspirations.
And you, what do you have in your guestroom? 
Or, what you are expecting from a guestroom?

Da quando ho iniziato a immaginare la Happy House {mesi fa, quando ero ancora in attesa di avere le chiavi!} non ho mai avuto una "stanza preferita", tutte le mie attenzioni si sono focalizzate sulla ricerca di idee e ispirazioni per ogni stanza.
Penso che tutti gli ambienti meritino eguali attenzioni..non mi piacciono le case che hanno una "stanza capolavoro" e gli altri ambienti {normalmente quelli privati} sono scialbi e senza carattere. E non sto parlando di soldi, sto parlando di buon senso. È possibile creare una bella camera con un piccolo budget..in altre parole: la mia sfida quotidiana!
In questo momento sto cercando ispirazioni per la camera degli ospiti...non è facile, se si considera che ogni ospite è differente {e noi abbiamo un sacco di ospiti!}. A mio parere la stanza degli ospiti dovrebbe riflettere il gusto proprietario e allo stesso tempo deve essere semplice e funzionale. Una poltrona comoda, un piccolo tavolo/scrivania e cuscini sono, secondo me, gli elementi basilari. Ho fatto un collage con alcune altre ispirazioni.
E voi, cosa avete messo nella vostra camera degli ospiti?

DAY PIN DIY #9

Dear readers, I'm back after 5 days of totally relax in Tuscany.
I really enjoyed the beautiful weather and the good italian food {two things that I miss a lot!}.
Now I'm back home and I have to work hard to prepare the Happy House for the photo shoot for Casa Facile. I want to give special attention to every single detail  and inspire the readers of the magazine. So, in the next weeks I'll be busy in working and decorating..a dream, isn't it?
Pinterest is very helpful to find diy and inspirations, and today I want to share some nice ideas. What's your favorite one? Are you planning some diy to enrich your home?

Cari lettori, sono tornata dopo 5 giorni di totale relax in Toscana.
Mi sono goduta il bel tempo e il buon cibo italiano {due cose che a tratti mi mancano un sacco!}.
Ora sono tornata a casa e devo mettermi sotto a lavorare con particolare impegno per preparare la Happy House per il servizio fotografico per Casa Facile. Voglio dedicare particolare attenzione ad ogni singolo dettaglio e ispirare i lettori della rivista. Così, nelle prossime settimane sarò impegnata nei lavori e nella decorazione..un sogno, non è vero?

Graduation day and family

Another chapter of my professional life is ended: since last saturday I'm officially interior stylist! Actually that means that a new chapter is just started ;-)
My parents and my grandma came here from Italy to support me during the graduation day and to see the happy house. We spent happy hours together, we stayed hours to the park playing cards and frisbee {also my grandma!} and we visited to the lovely city of Breda.


I'm also happy to annunce that I have a new, amazing sponsor. I hope to make some good pictures in the next days, I can't wait to share it with all of you!

Un altro capitolo della mia vita professionale è giunto al termine: da sabato scorso sono ufficialmente interior stylist! In realtà ciò significa che un nuovo capitolo è appena iniziato ;-)
I miei genitori e mia nonna sono venuti qui dall'Italia per sostenermi durante il giorno della consegna del diploma e hanno colto al volo l'occasione di vedere la happy house. Abbiamo trascorso ore felici insieme, siamo stati ore al parco a giocare a carte e frisbee {anche mia nonna!} e abbiamo visitato la deliziosa città di Breda.


Sono anche contentissima di annunciare che ho un nuovo, bellissimo sponsor. Spero di riuscire a scattare delle belle foto nei prossimi giorni, non vedo l'ora di condividerlo con tutti voi!
