My Easter table this year will be very similar to this one that I imagined for Casa Facile few years ago {here}..a simple white linen tablecloth, colorful dishes and small flowers here and there.

Thursday pics

The "thursday pics" today are dedicated to my last purchases: the Essenza cushion and the Royal Doulton mugs that I bought at Bijenkorf, a famous dutch chain of stores {but you can find them on line}. I like the geometric pattern of the cushion and the pastel colors that match with the mugs. I really like the color palette and I'm thinking to use it to renovate the textiles in my livingroom!

Le "thursday pics" oggi sono dedicate ai miei ultimi acquisti: il cuscino Essenza e le tazze Royal Doulton che ho comprato da Bijenkorf, una catena di negozi molto famosi qui in Olanda {ma si possono anche trovare on-line}. Mi piace il disegno geometrico del cuscino ed i colori pastello che si abbinano alle tazze. Mi piace molto questa palette di colori e sto seriamente pensando di usarla per rinnovare i tessuti nel mio soggiorno!

How to use cleverly the space in a small apartment? Duplicate it with a mezzanine!
And in this case, I simply love the result. Under the bed there is place for a cozy reading space..I love how the stylist has combined the mid century armchair, the design lamp and left the rest simple and clean.

Come utilizzare in modo intelligente lo spazio in un piccolo appartamento? Duplicandolo con un soppalco!
E in questo caso il risultato è divino. Sotto il letto c'è anche posto per un accogliente angolo lettura..mi piace come lo/a stylist ha accostato la poltrona anni '60, la lampada di design e ha lasciato il resto semplice e pulito.

DAY PIN DIY #17 {easter ed.}

I'm very happy today to show you the restyling of one of my favorite column, DAY PIN DIY.
I've noticed that sometimes when I link a picture from Pinterest, after few months {maybe because the picture has been removed} the image is not visible anymore and I don't want to have such problems on my blog. 
So, I decided to make a new design, I hope you like it! 
I collected some nice ideas for Easter: personally I'm in love for the Pantone eggs..aren't they super cute?

Sono molto felice oggi di mostrarvi il restyling di una delle mie rubriche preferite, DAY PIN DIY.
Ho notato che a volte, quando si linka un'immagine da Pinterest, dopo qualche mese {magari perché la stessa è stata rimossa} l'immagine non è più visibile e non mi piace avere buchi bianchi sul blog.

A big bright open space filled with vintage pieces and the right amount of color. And I love the open kitchen shelves and all the cushions+blankets lay down on the couches..so cozy and informal, isn't it?

Spring mood {livingroom}

Last week {before the snowfall}, we tasted again few days of spring. The warm sun, the chilly breeze and the sprouts in the garden..I love this season. And of course the interior follows the exterior. I rearranged the furnitures in the livingroom, nothing serious..I just changed the coffee table and the armchair. I really like the new disposition, I've been inspired by this picture that you can see on my portfolio.
What do you think? More "flea market style", isn't it?

La settimana scorsa {prima della nevicata}, abbiamo riassaporato di nuovo aria di primavera. Il sole caldo, il vento freddo e i germogli nel giardino..amo questa stagione. E naturalmente l'interno si adatta e segue l'esterno. Ho risistemato i mobili nel soggiorno, niente di radicale comunque..ho solo cambiato il tavolino e la poltrona. Mi piace molto la nuova disposizione, sono stata ispirata da questa foto che potete vedere sul mio portfolio.

IDA photography {the blog}

Big news: my portfolio/blog is on line!
Don't worry, I'm not planning to close this one or anything like that! 
But in a few months I start to collaborate with an agent that represents my work and that's the reason why I decided to create an on line portfolio, with some example of my pictures. It will be a "static" blog, so no posts about me or my life, just a gallery of my best shoots.

Ma non vi preoccupate, non ho nessuna intenzione di chiudere questo o di rimpiazzarlo!
La ragione principale è che tra qualche mese inizierò una collaborazione con un'agente che rappresenterà il mio lavoro: questo è il motivo per cui ho deciso di creare un portfolio on line con qualche esempio delle mie foto. Sarà un blog "statico" e professionale, quindi niente post personali, solo una galleria dei miei migliori scatti.

A blanket story

What can I say: I love blankets! Despite the fact that my wardrobe is already full, I decided to make a new one, using the gorgeous Rowan wool that Coats Cucirini gave me two years ago for Abilmente. I decided to use one of my favorite stitch {you can find it here} and go for a simple stripe pattern. In two weeks {working just in the evenings} the new blanket is ready!

Cosa posso dire: amo le coperte! Nonostante il fatto che il mio armadio sia già pieno, ho deciso di realizzarne una nuova, utilizzando la bellissima lana Rowan che Coats Cucirini mi ha dato due anni fa per Abilmente. Ho deciso di usare uno dei miei punti preferiti {lo trovate qui} e ho optato per un semplice motivo a strisce. In due settimane di lavoro {solo la sera} la coperta nuova è pronta!

Isabò

Let me finish the week with a surprise: a new colorful sponsor!
Isabò is the creative world of Isabella, a graphic designer based in Italy. I met her through Casa Facile and last year I went at her colorful house for a photoshoot {we ended the day with a dinner on the balcony with other Casa Facile's friends..the most amazing photoshoot I've ever done!}. So, you can imagine how happy I am now that she opened a Facebook page to show her lovely creations, Isabò Peppydesign. 

Isabella is very talented and accurate, her products are suitable for both childs and adults and are a perfect addition to every room. She made for me a lovely cloud and an owl using my favorite colors. For the first pictures I've used the nice vintage cradle, but below you can see where are usually placed: the cloud is on my bed and the owl on my desk..and they make me smile every time that I look at them!

Lasciatemi concludere la settimana con una sorpresa: un nuovo coloratissimo sponsor!

Isabò è il mondo creativo di Isabella, una graphic designer italiana. L'ho conosciuta attraverso la pagina di Casa Facile e l'anno scorso sono anche stata nella sua coloratissima casa per realizzare un photo shoot per la rivista {abbiamo finito la giornata con una cena sul balcone con altri amici cieffini..il servizio fotografico più incredibile che abbia mai fatto!}. Quindi potete immaginare la mia gioia ora che ha aperto una pagina Facebook in cui presenta e vende le sue incantevoli creazioni, Isabò Peppydesign. 

Isabella è davvero bravissima e con una precisione incredibile, i suoi prodotti sono perfetti per bambini e adulti e si possono collocare in ogni stanza. Per me ha realizzato un' incantevole nuvoletta e un simpatico gufetto con i miei colori preferiti. Nelle prime foto ho usato la culla, ma più sotto potete vedere dove si trovano di solito: la nuvoletta è sul letto e il gufetto fa capolino sulla mia scrivania..e mi strappano un sorriso ogni volta che li guardo!

Thursday pics {white and 50mm}

A touch of spring in the new "Thursday pics" post! I've painted the pink bench in white, I think it fits better with the new table. And for the other pictures, I've used my new 50mm {f/2.5} lense..I'm still learning, I'm like a child with a new shining toy!

Un tocco di primavera nel nuovo post delle "Thursday pics"! Ho dipinto di bianco la panchetta rosa, credo che si adatti meglio con il nuovo tavolo. E per le altre foto ho usato il nuovo obiettivo 50mm {f/2.5}..sto ancora imparando, mi sento come un bambino con un giocattolo nuovo e scintillante!

Be awesome

A glimpse of my bathroom..the postcard "Be awesome today" is from vtwonen and welcome my sleepy face every morning. It's a good mantra, especially if you need to get up early {not my case luckily}.
The fish comb is from the Villa Augustus market shop. I've been there last saturday for the first time with my husband and we've been enchanted by the place..we surely want to come back in summer, with a better weather. And I also had the chance to say "ciao" to Ingrid, from Wood & Wool stool.

Uno scorcio del mio bagno..la cartolina "Be awesome today" è di vtwonen e accogliere {volente o nolente} la mia faccia assonnata ogni mattina. È un ottimo mantra, soprattutto quando bisogna alzarsi presto {non è il mio caso per fortuna}.

Il pettine a forma di pesce proviene dal negozio di Villa Augustus. Ci sono stata lo scorso sabato per la prima volta con mio marito e siamo rimasti incantati dalla location..di sicuro ci torneremo in estate, con il bel tempo. E ho anche avuto la possibilità di salutare Ingrid, di Wood & Wool stool.

White and clean lines, a timeless design and a little bit of cork and wood: that's why "Today I heart this" picture*! Could be perfect in a basic kitchen, in a mid century inspired livingroom or in the kids room. 
Less is more!

Linee bianche e pulite, un design senza tempo e un po' di sughero e legno: per tutti questi motivi ho scelto questa foto* per "Today I heart this"! Una scaffalatura che potrebbe essere perfetta in una cucina dalle linee basic, in un soggiorno ispirato al design anni '60 o nella camera dei bambini.

Meet the Blogger @ Casa Facile: il video

Per chi era presente è ancora fresco nella memoria il primo Meet the Blogger organizzato da Casa Facile lo scorso ottobre, durante la fiera Abilmente.
O almeno, per me è così. L'adrenalina pre-intervento, i sorrisi delle partecipanti e le chiacchiere del dopo evento {senza dimenticare la serata nel centro della meravigliosa Vicenza} sono dei ricordi piacevoli che riscopro ogni volta quando rivedo le foto o rileggo i miei post {ebbene sì, torno spesso indietro a vedere cosa ho scritto!}.
E adesso, grazie a Casa Facile {e grazie a Marco Tazzi che ha realizzato le riprese}, sono disponibili on line su youtube i primi due video {su slide share invece ci sono le presentazioni statiche}. 
Il primo di Silvia Curti su come migliorare l'aspetto grafico del blog, e l'altro invece è quello in cui parlo di styling e fotografia. Mi sono fatta grandi risate nel rivedermi, l'emozione è palpabile {soprattutto all'inizio} e alcune mie facce sono davvero esilaranti. Voi che ne dite?
